COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered.
A blend of 1/3 young beer and 2/3 of beer aged 2 years in large oak vats. The more important proportion of oak matured beer contributes to its fruity taste, complexity and intensity. The finish is worthy of a great wine.

Bottled. Poured a dark red brown with a small, tight beige head. Aroma is a fruity tartness and balsamic vinegar, plus a slightly floral note. The flavor has a grape and wine-like quality. This has a nice layered complexity as you drink it, beginning with the balsamic sweetness and the grape, moving to the sourness, and finishing with a dry woodiness.

330 mL bottle. Ruby brown pour, small but dens rocky head that leaves heaps of lacing. Aroma is cherry, slightly sweet, but also a bit of sourness, lime or vinegar. Taste is sweet and sour, cherry again. Medium body, effervescent carbonation. Excellent.

330 ml bottle
Deep ruby red to mahogany brown clear beer with thick blonde to beige head. Aroma has saddle, barn, red currant, cranberry, cherry, toffee and wood. Flavor is a sweet and sour combination of the aforementioned. Palate is quite thick with medium carbonation. Finish has a quite strong bite of bitterness. Aftertaste has sourness, berry jam, cherries and sugary sweetness. Very enjoyable. Good balance of sweetness and sourness.

330ml bottle, present from Belgian father-in-law. Pours deep, slightly hazy blood red with pinkish white head. Aroma of light cherries, taste of tart cherries, raspberries and red grapes with sour acidic lambic qualities. Pleasant, refreshing and just the right side of fruity for me.
