Redbach, a fruity refreshment based on Rodenbach Classic with a spicy cherry touch (25% Krieken).

Bottle from backlog notes. Pours a dark reddish brown color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have slightly tart cherry, sweeter cherry juice, a mild acidity, not much in the way of complexity here and no where near Belgian Red.

Bottle share thanks to Mcbackus. 6 year old bottle. Clear amber color with no real head. Lots of cherry in the nose, sweet and syrupy. Taste is sweet, lightly tart, lots of cherry.

Bottle shared by mcbackus. Aroma is cherry juice. Pour is a brownish red. Taste is just as sweet and fruity. Pretty damn good.

Bottle share thanks to mcbackus. Best by 2008 on the bottle. Mostly clear, amber color, minimal head. Tons of cherry aroma, sweet , syrupy, more cherry, malty. Tons of cherry juice, sweet, lightly tart, and just a lot more cherry flavor.

Bottle from kraddel (thanks Dylan), pours a dark amber with no head. Nose is stale, with cardboard and tart plums. Flavour is sweet and sour, with some light notes of cardboard. Decent beer, but pretty weak.

UPDATED: APR 11, 2014 Bottle at home. Shared with Mathieu87. APPEARANCE: clear red beer, small unstable reddish head. NOSE: cherries, sweet, artificial, little wood, lactic. TASTE: sweet, syrupy, little wood, somewhat sour. Aged quite well! This was probably worse to drink when young! Now it’s quite drinkable and refreshing.

Deep red colored pour with a bit if a caramel color. Slight amount of off-white bubbles that don't last long. No lacing. A very sour cherry aroma. Some malt notes as well. Taste is all cherries. A little bit tart and totally awesome. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Deep red colour, diminishing white head. Aroma of cherry, almond, marzipan, raisins, light sour cherry notes, dried fruits, dried apple. Quite sweet flavour, cherry juice, light fruit acids, light madeira. Still has a lot of cherry. Bit thin body, but long sweet finish, cherry, raisins, almond and funk. Developed quite nicely, came some way from the beer I used to make ice cream float with. Seems it had the tide against it when it was released, but was quite a good beer for what it was.
(From 33cL bottle @ The Morning After RBBSG II tasting, Gent 2013. Thanks for sharing, Tim!)

11/VIII/13 - 25cl bottle from Kulminator (Antwerpen) @ home - BB: XII/2007 (not sure, ink was smudged) (2013-760) Thanks to BelgBeerGeek for the trade!

Clear red brown beer, small off-white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: honey, orange peel, port and sherry notes, earthy, bit nutty, cork / mildew, fruity notes, sour cherries, bit lemony, some vinegar. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: very sweet start, sugary, very fruity, cherry candy, bit lemony, more sweetness. Glad to have completed my Rodenbach series now!
