12 oz bottle courtesy of an extra from markwise. Thanks, Mark! A rarity! Pours a murky rusty red, glowing deep red in between, a small offwhite reddish head that dies to a film that clings to the edges, light lacing. Aromas are a mesh of sweet cherry juice, sour cherries, a touch of vinegar, vanilla, caramel. Lively fruity cherry juice, sweeter. Touch of cherry lozenge/cough syrup appeal. Initial is medium bodied, mesh of cherry juice, sweet cherries, tart cherries, caramel, toffee is gentler, as the cherries really dominate this brew. A touch of vinegar, vanilla, faint medicinal cherry quality, but it doesn’t really work it’s way to the focus. More background noise, a tasty brew that is more sweet slanted, but still has a nice tart quality. A touch of cough drop, but the real cherry juice and tart cherries make a focus, interesting contrast. Finish is lingering sweet and tart cherries. Not bad. A welcome surprise.

Red in color. Heavy cherry nose. Almost like drinking a cherry soda. Tasty, but not terrific. Rated 3/27/10

RBWG 2010. Hazed cherry with white head and lace. Sweet cherry aroma. Cherry flavor with not much sour and a paper taste. A bit thin and watery as well. Glad to have tried it though.

Bottle shared by Rustyham and Legato. Pours reddish purple color with pinkish head. It smells like a cherry jolly rancher or cherry kool-aid. It tastes just like it smells. Very artificial, but if you want a sweet, fruity drink this is for you. Medium body with average carbonation. Thanks Nick and Chris.

Sampled at RBWG 2010. Nice sour cherry in there, but in general quite sweet. Some sort of tannins going on in the background too.

12oz bottle from local store. Pours deep red with an off-white head. Nose is cherry, some vanilla, some funk, and vinegar. Flavor is similar with a battle ensuing between the sweet cherries and the rodenbach sour/ funky ale. Interesting take on this one.

Pours a nice reddish brown. Aroma is full of fruit and malts. Big cherry flavor with hints of sour. A real good beer.

Delicious, clean, thin cherry soda-like. Super fizzy and not as sweet as you would expect. I could imagine drinking this by the gallon. Bottle from Vintage Liquors, Miami.
