Rodenbach Rosso is a refreshing fruit beer based on the unique Rodenbach beers aged in oak barrels, partly macerated with full red fruits. Its unique fruity flavor thanks to the sour cherries, raspberries and cranberries that oaked beer enrich and flavor. It has the color of a young Burgundy wine. It is slightly alcoholic, has a slightly dry finish and a beautiful pink red head

Bottled. The aroma has cherry, strawberry, marzipan. Dark red coloured beer with a pink, medium head. The taste is sweet, has marzipan, cherries, strawberries, some lactic tones. Slightly sticky finish. Not impressed.

Keg at Beerd in Bristol. Dark red with a pinkish head. Aroma has syrup, cherries, raspberries and this is transferred to the palate with a faint sourness to the finish. Lively mouthfeel and thinnish texture. A little too sweet for me.

Bottle. Pours a ruby red with a small, pink head. Aroma is berries, strawberry and raspberry candy, lightly sour. Taste is lightly sour, berries, sour berries, strawberry and raspberry candy. Fairly balsamic finish. Somewhat sweet, but not the sugar bomb you might expect. Very pleasant.

Een speciale geur met een licht zure toets in. De smaak is heel speciaal, niet te vergelijken met andere bieren, echt een topper, heel lekker en niet te zoet of te zuur

15/VIII/14 - 25cl bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent) or Geers (Oostakker), can’t remember @ home - BB: 8/IV/15 (2014-909)

Clear ruby red beer, irregular pink aery head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, forest fruit flavoured chewing gum, strawberry candy. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: just like strawberry yoghurt, little sourish, very lactic acidity, bit lemony, sour fruits. Aftertaste: more fruit flavoured yoghurt, red berries, little sugary, bit sourish, cherry candy, bit watery in the end. Better than I had feared.

Bottle from trade with fonefan, many thanks! Trübes dunkelrötliches Bier mit ordentlicher pink-roten Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr aromatisch nach roten Waldfrüchten. Geschmack säuerlich fruchtig, roten Waldbeeren, saure Kirschen.

Tap på ölfestival i Bryssel. Verkligen inte ett av Rodenbachs bästa öl. Godisbärig med mer syntetiska inslag än äkta. Lätt och lättdrucken. Lite för söt dessutom.

ruby colour, moderate sized pinkish head;aroma of sour cherry, raspberry, earthy-yeasty notes and maybe some woody notes; taste is dominated by sourness with intensive fruitiness; drinkable

Bottle. A crystal clear ruby red beer with a small, dense, off-white head. Raspberry, cherries and hints of overripe strawberries in the sugary sweet aroma, some almond notes too. Rather sweet on the palate too, medium bodied and soft, sort of dry, but still quite sweetish. Almond and white sugar in the back of the flavor, with lots of red berries. Sweet, berry finish. A quite decent one, but a bit too sweet. 140829
