Rodenbach Vintage is the unique result of selection by our Rodenbach brew masters, the barrel after two years of maturation has produced the best beer, "the best barrel of the year". The label is always the number of barrel stated and the year which marks the beginning of maturation.

Rodenbach Vintage is 100% matured old beer, resulting in superior Rodenbach Grand Cru. Its taste is complex, round, intense and refreshing. Typically, the apple tart fruitiness combined with caramel, wild honey and oak with a hint of vanilla, cherry and licorice. Its aroma has hints of caramel and oak, as well as notes of green apples mixed with honey and chocolate. The soft sour, fruity aftertaste is long and nicely balanced like a grand cru wine.

Ingredients: water, barley malt, corn, hops.

The body is deep red, bordering on dark brown. A tight off-white head that reminds me of the one you’ll find on Rochefort 10. Aromas of red fruits, apples, and brown sugar. Tastes are similar, but with the addition of some slightly boozy raisin bread. There is a sour tartness underlying it all. I can’t imagine a more perfect beer.

750ml bottle. 2013 vintage. Deep amber brown colour, off-white foam head and aroma of funk, citrus rind, berries, vinegar sour. Taste is lemon zest, grainy, cherry, dried fruits, sour with caramel, biscuit, apple, oaky notes and a lingering tartness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, tangy sour finish. Very drinkable.

Butelka 375ml. Polecam.

A sour aroma, pours a hazy reddish brown color with a thin tan head with some lacing. Taste of sour cherries, with a medium and a oily feel with a tart fruit finish.

Poured from a bottle. This is the 2013 vintage. Murky light brown color, small off white head. Sweet and tangy aroma. Medium body with a sweet and sour flavor and a nice sweet finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Heb dit geproefd op een proeverij, het bier kon mij niet echt bekoren. De mix tussen zoet en zuur had beter gekund.

Vintage 2013 - Foeder 149: Aroma is full of surprises. wooden notes, vanilla, red apples a little bit of cherries and other assorted red berry notes. Taste is really divine. Soft and dry, not that sour and stuffed with apples, balsamico, wet wood, soft honey and all over refreshing and exciting. Great stuff!

Very cherry. Long finish is sour, sweet, and balanced. Green apple, sour cherry, a little vanilla cola, and just enough brett to be noticed.

Tap. Light mahogany with small head. Tart with huge cherry. Almost a hint of sweet cola in there. The combination of sourness and smooth is remarkable. Awesome.
