Rodenbach Vintage is the unique result of selection by our Rodenbach brew masters, the barrel after two years of maturation has produced the best beer, "the best barrel of the year". The label is always the number of barrel stated and the year which marks the beginning of maturation.

Rodenbach Vintage is 100% matured old beer, resulting in superior Rodenbach Grand Cru. Its taste is complex, round, intense and refreshing. Typically, the apple tart fruitiness combined with caramel, wild honey and oak with a hint of vanilla, cherry and licorice. Its aroma has hints of caramel and oak, as well as notes of green apples mixed with honey and chocolate. The soft sour, fruity aftertaste is long and nicely balanced like a grand cru wine.

Ingredients: water, barley malt, corn, hops.

2011 barrel 95. 750 ml bottle. The beer is a moderately hazy amber color with a beige head of foam. The aroma has strong dry wine notes and remind me a lot of port. Berry fruit notes come through with mild acidity. Tartness is well balanced with sweetness. Medium body. Soft, spritzy mouthfeel, and moderate carbonation.

Muddy brown color with tan head. Aroma has intense balsamic vinegar notes with fermented fruits and some malt in the background. Taste starts sour and acidic but also has malt sweetness with caramel notes. Medium body with high effervescence, quite dry on the aftertaste. A really true to style beer with complex flavors.

Draught at Ale Arsenal. Pours a clear mahogany with a khaki head that lingers throughout and leaves slight lacing. Taste is smooth combination of deep, dark fruit and tartness. Slight woodiness and sour finish. Delicious.
