The best kind of Rodenbach I tasted! Very good balanced. Sour, fruity and just a little bit sweetness.

Pours a nice red with no head (or so). Aroma of vinegar, red fruits and oak. Taste is more of the same, reminescent of the Classic. Taste is nicely balanced between sweet and sour, ultra quenching! Quite an awesome drink!

2010 vintage at Probus Wines, Dublin. Pours deep ruby red with thin pinkish white head. Aroma gives loads of cherries, leather, oak, cyder vinegar, and sour berry tartness. Taste is a full-on explosion of sweet and tart cherry character: lots of sugary cherry flavour mixed with the almost-vinegary red berry sourness. Some funk and oakiness. Vinous notes. Lovely tartness, not too overpowering. Impressive cherry character lingering. Crisp tart finish. Oak, leather, cherry and yeast funk linger long into the aftertaste. Pure class.

2010 vintage bottle poured a murky reddish brown with a medium long lasting foamy white head and minimal lacing. Aroma includes marciano cherry juice with hints of soy sauce, vinegar, and oak. Taste begins with an enjoyable tart cherry flavor followed by a wave of carbonated raspberry bliss leading to a crisp finish. Wonderful bubbly mouthfeel with tart fruit lingering on the palate. Complex, refreshing experience.

Bottle, 2010 vintage. Pours a beautiful, clear, dark red pour with off white foam. Aroma unites the usual suspects: cherry, wood and acetic vinegar notes is a really rich bouquet. Lots of subtle earthy notes and wood, tart cherries, light, not syrupy at all. Taste is just sour enough, really good sweet/sour combo. Palate is half dry, with fine carbonation. Very nice.

2010 Vintage, 750mL bottle at DHVL, pours a fairly clear deep dark amber with a medium beige head. Aroma of light oak, some tart red berries, and a touch of vinegar. Flavour is very complex, with notes of tart red berries, vinegar, and oak. Loads of depth, with a wonderful balance between vinegar, oak and tart berries. There is a good balance of sweetness that balances out the vinegary tart notes. Wonderful Rodenbach vintage. Excellent stuff.

hazy mahogany color, tons of cherry, green apples tons of oak, moderately acidic with just cherries and oak. So well balanced and executed. Fantastic.
