COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rodenbach Vintage is the unique result of selection by our Rodenbach brew masters, the barrel after two years of maturation has produced the best beer, "the best barrel of the year". The label is always the number of barrel stated and the year which marks the beginning of maturation.

Rodenbach Vintage is 100% matured old beer, resulting in superior Rodenbach Grand Cru. Its taste is complex, round, intense and refreshing. Typically, the apple tart fruitiness combined with caramel, wild honey and oak with a hint of vanilla, cherry and licorice. Its aroma has hints of caramel and oak, as well as notes of green apples mixed with honey and chocolate. The soft sour, fruity aftertaste is long and nicely balanced like a grand cru wine.

Ingredients: water, barley malt, corn, hops.

Great beer with the real typical Rodenbach taste. This typical Flanders red style beer has been kept in order to mature in oak barrel ( foeders ). The special acidity is balanced out by using a blend method where young and old beer is composed and blended to a great Result. This beer is perfectly in balance and has a sweet, bitter, and acidity composition that is typical for this beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone By Belleketels

Muddy brown color with tan head. Aroma has intense balsamic vinegar notes with fermented fruits and some malt in the background. Taste starts sour and acidic but also has malt sweetness with caramel notes. Medium body with high effervescence, quite dry on the aftertaste. A really true to style beer with complex flavors.

Draught at Ale Arsenal. Pours a clear mahogany with a khaki head that lingers throughout and leaves slight lacing. Taste is smooth combination of deep, dark fruit and tartness. Slight woodiness and sour finish. Delicious.

Rodenbach Vintage 2013
App: Mostly clear burgundy, some chunky particles at the bottom, 2-3 finger dirt white head.
Aroma: cherries, lemons, apples, balsamic vinegar, oak, vanilla, alcohol, slight acetone).
Taste: Sweet apples and strawberries with sour cherry candy and lemon, oak and mild balsamico, vanilla.
Palate: Medium to full bodied, soft carbonation, oily texture.
Overall: Could probably do with some age, but it’s a very nice base beer.

2012 bottle, deep amber beer, big cream head faded. Aroma malt and whiskey, dark fruit, toast. Taste is sour cherries, pineapple, oak, malt, vanilla, something spicy. Palate is smooth and light, carbonation almost bright. This is really amazing. One of the best things I’ve ever had!
