I thought I rated this a long time ago... Any way. Bottle picked up at SL. Nice pour, dark ruby red in color, decent head. Nose of some tart grapes, yeast, malts, raisons, cherries. Taste is pretty much the same. Nice tartness. Clean and crisp. Grapes, fruits (but not sweet) little malt presence, yeast, slight wood notes. Body on the lighter side. Clean and refreshing as the label says. Overall: Good stuff... and one of the sour/tart beers that was a stepping stone into the sour/wild ales that I now enjoy

250ml bottle kindly shared by Finn. Dark-red body, decent beige head. Woody dry aroma with tart fruits. Blended taste profile of tart and sweet berries and fruits. Rounded dry ending. Palate cleanser (session, Tromsø 29.06.2011).

The colour of this beer is pretty nice. Smells quite good also. Taste was surprisingly sour though. Not as bad as their Grand Cru. This beer reminded me of wine.

Pours cloudy red or brown. Nose is complex, nor to be confused with pleasant. Contains notes of caramel, clean lactic sourness, woods, sweet wine, sweet vanilla nastiness. Taste is at first somewhat vanilla and barrel grossness then fades in to some clean satisfying sourness. Light carbonation and smooth. Not that good.

Bottle: Pours a leathery brown with a silky smooth, but sticky, khaki head. Nose is strong with vinous notes and oak; remnants of vinegar. A very soft and balanced taste is vinous, malts, and lightly sour. I can’t get over how ’soft’ it feels. Very creamy and soothing. A mellow, yet rich experience.

Fantastic dark brown towards a dark red color. That´s about it for positive things though. Way too sour in the smell and taste. Kind of chemical.

33cl bottle. Pours a reddish-brown color with a tan head. Aroma is fruity, sour. Medium on the palate with lively carbonation. Flavor is sweet and sour, malty, sour cherry, with a nice sour finish. A nice sour ale to get people introduced to the style.

Test vom 16.2.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,5,6,5,8,5 - 5,60
