Saw a good deal on a 6-pack of these for my wife, a big sour fan. Sneaking a bottle, poured into a tulip glass a reddish-dark brown color with small off-white head. Aroma of balsamic vinegar, light fruit and some oaky notes. Taste is not as sour as aroma leads on, more fruity (mainly cherries, some raspberries) with a balance thatís not overly sweet. Medium body and carbonation, tart, yet a surprisingly light flavor. I think I have a new go-to easy drinking sour here.

Highly refreshing and pleasantly sour all the way through. Fruity without turning too sweet. The go-to Flanders Red.

Ruby red. Can eke out a head if poured from a height - but disappears fast. Smell of cherries and aged oak. Close ur eyes and u can picture the sides of an oaken cask. Soft taste of cherries with a sour finish. Not too sour -just enough to tingle your senses. The smell and taste of the older beer (rotten cherries ? ) comes through somehow. Nice, refreshing beer.

Bottle at home. Pours reddish tinged with brown. Not much head. Some lacing. Not overly complex- will have to try the Grand Cru with more aged and less young beer. Pleasantly sour with cherry dominates with notes of oak and apple. Yeasty and somewhat tangy. Overall impression is on the sweet side. Somewhat thin. Decent. Donít need another.

25cl bottle @ Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours a hazy deep red with pinkish head. Soft, sweet sour aroma. Taste is indeed refreshing with light sour cherries and mild drinkable character, like a sour Tizer. Lovely.

Aroma of cherries. Taste is cherry some faint sour apple and a pleasant sweetness of beer--some faint oak flavors round out the character. Not over sour but a nice bit of sour pair with some fruit beer notes. Really good.

0,25 fles. Koperachtig met weinig schuim. Aroma is zuur, ook wel wat turf, herfst. Smaak is zuur met iets zoete afdronk. Mooie body voor slechts 5.2%

Bottle - brown pour with an average head. Has a sweet smell and a sour candy taste along with some cherries. Medium mouthfeel.
