4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
March 2013 - coldish 25cl bottle. A little worried because I didnít like the grand cru much, and this smells like vinegarÖÖRed brown colour, high carbonation, apple juice with a sour finish, sherry notes, light to mid body, enduring sweet and sour finish which has a lot of balance to it. No bitterness. There is still a slight element of vinegar, but only very subtle and could even be lemon. This is actually an enjoyable and interesting flavour. A very good beer. Iíve had to give this beer an aroma rating of 6 in order to give it the overall í4í it deserves...but really the aroma rating should be 2.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
(Bottle): Pours a red brown with a small off white head. Aroma is just like red wine. Some notes of yeast and berries but distinctly red wine aroma. Vinous taste, yeast, malt, fruit notes too. Sour with an undertone of sweetness. Not bad but not a fan.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a nice reddish brown with a tan head and lacing. It has an aroma of dark cherry, raisin, and some funk. The flavor is somewhat light, with tart cherries up front and a slightly malty and fruity middle leading to a tart and slightly sweet finish over a medium body.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from bottle into tulip: Pours dark brown with a touch or red with a very thin, almost non-existent head. Aroma is yeasty, funky, fruity, with some grape. Taste is nicely balanced, a little sweet and a little sour balance out the funk. Definitely tastes like grape. Very light carbonation and a bit thinner than I was expecting. Itís not the best sour Iíve had, but itís enjoyable.

Poured from bottle - pours a reddish brown with a thin head that dissipates quickly. Tastes malty sweet and followed by tartness and sourness. Not as sour as I might have expected, but still very delicious.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a hazy dark amber/red with a beige head. Aroma of cherries, berries, raisin, wine. Nice and sour. "Bears the proud title of the most refreshing beer in the world", I can sort of get behind that, I could drink this in five minutes.
