11.2oz Bottle. The pour was a dark cranberry red with an average (1-2 finger) light brown fizzy head that fully diminished in a short time, leaving behind virtually no lacing at all. The aroma was quite compelling with some sweet malts and a tart Brett yeast, along with notes of dark fruit (black cherry, raspberry and cassis), candi sugar and a slight port wine presence. The taste was bold and flavorful with a malty sweet tartness and a good fruity note along with some candi sugar to start, then became nice and yeasty with a strong sour port presence towards the end. The flavor lasted an average duration following the swallow, with a fruity sour wine taste fading ever so slowly. Mouthfeel was a about medium in body and dry in texture with an almost medium carbonation. Overall this brew creates a fruity sour explosion on the taste buds, which I personally love. It has tons and tons of flavor, a fantastic drinkability and possesses a low ABV. Damn it’s good...

25cl bottle @ Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours a hazy deep red with pinkish head. Soft, sweet sour aroma. Taste is indeed refreshing with light sour cherries and mild drinkable character, like a sour Tizer. Lovely.

Aroma of cherries. Taste is cherry some faint sour apple and a pleasant sweetness of beer--some faint oak flavors round out the character. Not over sour but a nice bit of sour pair with some fruit beer notes. Really good.

0,25 fles. Koperachtig met weinig schuim. Aroma is zuur, ook wel wat turf, herfst. Smaak is zuur met iets zoete afdronk. Mooie body voor slechts 5.2%

Ruby pour. Aroma is malty yeastiness. Taste is light berries, light vinegar tang. Very easy sour. Bit too sessional for a Flanders red.

Hazy brown color with some reddish notes and a minimal white head. Aroma is sour, with wine, vinegar and red fruits such as cherry. Medium body. Taste goes in the same line as the aroma, with cherry, soft vinegar and red wine. Aftertaste is slightly sour.

Fawn tall head, brown-apricot’ish body, lacing’s low. Aroma; brown malts, berries, berry peel, sour peaches. Taste; berries, fruits, cherries and apples, malts in the background. Feels limonade’ish in a clean sour way. Overall; easy to drink, harder to understand. [25cl br btl, abv5.2%, #3.20 BB30.01.14, B@Vinmonopolet Tromsdalen]
