0.33l bottle. Hazy bark amber/orange body, thin white head. Aroma of caramel, orange zest, some roasted malts, pepper and some berries. Taste of caramel, roasted malts, orange zest, grass and berries. Quite sweet, but nice.

Zeer donkere kleur met flinke schuimkraag. Aparte zware smaak zit eraan die me niet zo bevalt.

Bottle 0.33l at Oluthuone Leskinen, Oulu. BBE 2016-09-18. Colour is deep ruby with very small white head. Aromas and flavours: Berries, strawberries, sweetness, jam, grain, some dry fruits, some harshness and malts. Too sweet and sugary.

Bottled. Hazy ruby/dark amber color, minimal diminishing head. Phenolic and yeasty-fruity nose: strawberries, "strawberry mager", cloves and dried fruit mix. Sweet cereal notes and chocolate as well. Sweetish grainy flavor at first with loads of raisiny dried fruits and slightly alcoholic/acidic berries. Later on darkish chocolate and surprisigly strong, woody/herbal bitterness. Lingering dried fruit and chocolate aftertaste and woody bitterness, some herbal notes. Medium to full body, frothy carbonation makes it seem lighter than it is. Wow!

Dark brown double bock. Roasted malt, thick beer. Ripe fruit, caramel. A good beer for long dark evenings.

Draught (PINT Bokbier Festival 2015, Amsterdam) - Dark brown in colour. Cocoa, blackcurrant and raisins in the aroma. Plums, dates, berries and cocoa in the taste. Tasty.

Bruinrood.

33 cl bottle at home. Pours brown with medium tan head. Aroma: malts and plastic. Taste: High sweetness with low to medium bitterness. Taste of malts. Texture is sticky. Carbonation is average. Nothing special about this beer except for the plastic aroma, which isn’t a good thing.

Muddy brown colour. Aroma has chocolatey malts and some yeasty banana sweetness. Flavour is very rich and malty. Smooth texture.
