Bottle. Black with small beige head. Coffee, walnuts, marzipan, black currant, cocoa powder, light herb candy. Quite dry and powdery with medium sweetness at first going into roasted bitterness. Doesn't seem like 11% ABV at all. Good beer.

Bottle from MItra Kisjes. Bron to black, almost no head. Flat. Aroma has molasses, coffee, roasted malts, mocca. Full bodied, intense, some alcohol, molasses, chocolate, strong coffee. Despite the many IBU’s no bitter beer. Very nice.

Bottle @ First Official Randers Tasting. Pours cloudy very dark brown with small tan head. Clear aroma of caramel, malt, coffee and roast. Roasty flavour, with notes of chocolate and coffee, and touches of liquorice, milk and hops. Bitterish aftertaste. Warming alcohol presence. Nice.

Bottle @ First Official Randers Tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, licorice, hops and has a nice dry finish. Nice and smooth.

Aroma of roasted malts, dark ripe fruits, dark chocolate, berries, coffee. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a moderate bittersweet finish. Nicely balanced, not too sweet and easily drinkable despite the ABV. Lovely beer.

33cl bottle. Batch 2014-225. Pours black in color, espresso head. Aroma has coffee, dark fruity, Port wine notes, licorice. Full bodied. Quite unusual porter really. Flavor has licorice, ash, roasted malt, strong coffee, molasses. Bitter finish, ashy. Alcohol completely hidden without being too sweet either. Sipper, to be enjoyed in small doses.

Bottle @ home. Pours black with minimal head. Aroma is big roast, chocolate, coffee and caramel. Somewhat bready and floral. Thick texture, quite sticky. Pretty sweet but not overly. Some bitterness aswell. Full bodied, good beer.

Aroma: chocolate, herbs, red wine, roasty, chocolate, dark fruits, raisins, salty licorice , peat, coffee Taste: Bitter darl bread roated malts,peat,cjhocolate, some red wine and red fruit tones, and, light licorice salt tones ahe finish is a bitter roasted coffee which becomes quite vegetable like in the aftertaste. while the Peat remains there. medium- body, soft carbonation., texture is oily
