4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Iím always a bit impressed with peated beers like this. Halfway between a nice scotch flavor and a campfire. Obviously, the peat dominates the aroma and flavor, but there is a slight sweetness that moderates the punch.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at ít Arendsnest. Says itís peated. Black colour, creamy beige head. Aroma of hard roasted malts, alcohol, peat, light salty, bitter cocoa powder. Flavour is hard roasted malt, bitter chocolate, cocoa, light dark fruits, bit of peat, salt, sour cream, very dry bitter roasted finish. Smooth, creamy mouthfeel, medium bodied. Good.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at TíArendsnest, Amsterdam, Netherlands on Friday 30.09.11 Thick, heavy black beer with a light beige head. There is definately some peatiness going on here, there is also some spirit, though it is not too heavy or overpowering. Nice roasty cappuccino, with some spent coffee grains aplenty. Nice beer.
