On tap at Rodenburg tap take over Van Moll. Dark, black pour with mocca foam. Aroma of rich chocolate, leather, light smokiness. Taste is malty, quite saline, leathery, smoky, salty licorice. Palate is med-full bodied with good carbonation. Tasty.

I’m always a bit impressed with peated beers like this. Halfway between a nice scotch flavor and a campfire. Obviously, the peat dominates the aroma and flavor, but there is a slight sweetness that moderates the punch.

Bottled. Pours Deep brown with a small, lacing tan head. Aroma of slightly roasted malt, chocolate and licorice notes. Sweet flavor that ends up slightly more dry with alcohol notes. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carb. A very nice Porter

Bottle. Pours pitch black with a big tanned head on top. Creamy head that lasts long. Aroma of coffee and roasted malts. Alcohol detected. Flavour has coffee and loads of alcoholic flavours. Full flavoured, some chocolate but most of all is alcohol. Second pour gave me a huge head that wrecked my keyboard... Overall a decent beer, but a bit too much on the alcohol, even tough is an 8% beer.
