Almost black bodied, with an enormous head that generates brown floaties. Stroopsoldaatjes (Dutch carmael and butter candy)... Rich sweet toffee, caramel, dried figs, coffee beans, palm sugar and a hint of alcohol. Sweet, full taste, with a proper bitterness at the back. Oily mouth feel, with some fruity notes. A proper dessert beer! Well made. (33cl bottle, fairly priced)

Huge dense mocha head over dark brown body. The head is so thick it looks like melted ice cream and rises a good two centimeters above the rim of the glass. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, liquorish, very rich. Taste of very dark coffee, bitter chocolate, some sort of liquor, dry roast. Palate is very dry and roasty.
