Pours a beautiful black beer with a good brown head. Smells coffee, chocolate and a bit milkey and burn. I love the taste. Absolutely great. Heavy coffee. Burned. Thick body with a sticky texture. Good fitting carbo. Great beer!

Black with a small cappuccino head. Light smoke and roast malt aroma. Similar flavour. The burnt malts deliver a long lasting bitter finish.

Dark, black colour, large brown head. Great aroma of roasted malts, chocolate and coffee. Taste is like aroma. Body is good, nice bitterness, not too much, lively carbonation, though still relatively soft. Good beer!

Bottle from Bierkoning. Dark brown body with toasty head. Nice nose of molasses, malts and espresso. Taste quite yummy of coffee, roasty malts, espresso and some vanilla. Kicks in the end. Really good.

Bottle from Bierkoning. Dark brown with lasting tan head. Nose of chocolate and malts and espresso. Taste of dark chocolate, malts and lots of bitter in the finish. Quite a delectable little cocktail. Hats off.

Dark color with hardly any carbonation. Strong aroma of cacao, coffee and salmiak. Deel, layered taste: sweet, coffee, candies, licorice, caramel. Very smooth as well. Wow!

Draft @ PWBF11: Light brown vast foamy lacing on top of a black beer. Smell hops, yellow fruits, malt, fish and spices. Taste is a fresh mix of yellow fruit, light sweet, light liquorice, malts, caramel and spices. Low carbo, full body and soft mouthfeel. Impressive.

Tap @ week van het Nederlandse bier. Black pour, huge tan head. Aroma is roasty, peaty, bready and a bit of coffee and ash. Flavor is dry, roasty, ashy, slightly bitter and subtle. Very well balanced. Not that peaty, but very well drinkable.
