Ulfborg Scooper Smagning 2012. Cloudy dark brown with a creamy and long lasting tan head. Aroma of fruity yeast, caramel, licorice and milk chocolate. Sweet licorice, caramel and dried fruit flavour with a roasted finish

Had this one at the Winterbierfestival 2011, Gouda. Black colored brew. Roasted aroma. Roasted flavor, licorice, laural, some sweetness and salt. Enjoyable.

Bottle @ Ulfborg Mid March Tasting, 2012. Pours dark unclear brown with a small creamy head. Roast, dark fruit, chocolate, yeast , liquorice and a bit of ash. Slightly syrupy. Warming finish. Thinking of a BSA - pretty good.

Bottle from Bierkoning. Jet black with a decent tan head and moderate carbonation. Massive aroma of charred malts, seas slat and bitter chocolate. Full, almost oily mouth feel, with more chocolate, salts and a dry finish. Unusual and very good.

Bottle @ FOneFan. Very dark brown big brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee and caramel. Flavour is roasted malts, sweet, chocolate, yeast, caramel, medium liquorice with strong notes of alcohol.

Bottled. Pitch black coloured. Dense light brown head. Aroma: Chocolate, cofee, light fruits, roast, spice. Flavour: Chocolate, coffee, light spice and some swseetness. Medium bodied. Ends on a light roasted and chocolaty note.

Bottle. Pours pitch black with a big tanned head on top. Creamy head that lasts long. Aroma of coffee and roasted malts. Alcohol detected. Flavour has coffee and loads of alcoholic flavours. Full flavoured, some chocolate but most of all is alcohol. Second pour gave me a huge head that wrecked my keyboard... Overall a decent beer, but a bit too much on the alcohol, even tough is an 8% beer.

Bottle shared with Deanso. Black pour with beige head. Soft roasted aroma but strong roasted coffee flavour. Slight detectable alcohol

33 cL bottle at Arendsnest. Pours pitch black with a one finger thick, creamy and tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and breadish. Light liqourice and vague smoked. Dense malty, hardroasted towards light acidic. Burned and slight astringent. Thick malty and dry into the finish.
