Bottle. Pours a hazy orange amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity spicy weak woody caramel aroma with weak dark fruit hints. Sweetish malty spicy woody caramel flavor. Has a sweetish malty spicy woody caramel finish.

Bottle 330 ml at home, poured into a snifter. ABV a whooping 12% Beautiful, especially when hold against the light, dark red to light brown colour on the body. Not much head but after a tall pour some big beige bubbles were formed on the surface, eventually coming together to form a thin line around the glass. Light lacing left behind. On the aroma lots of fruits, peaches, light apricot, light yeat too, a bit of wood and vanilla. Sweet taste with lots of grass, earth and wood. Very complex taste, every sip brings something else upfront. Grapes. Juniper berries, bitters. A bit of ash too. The list goes on. Nice bitterness on the aftertaste too, having slowly progressed from the initial sweetness, so it doesnít come at once. Medium thin body, carbonation on very good levels. What a great beer, Rodenburg is becoming one of the dutch breweries to keep an eye on with every new release of theirs.

Tap @ tap takeover @ van Moll. Very hazy amber colour with a small but dense off-white head. Smells fruity, fresh, lots of malts, some hops and apricot.. Nice. Tastes hops, fresh, barley, rye.. Quite a nice beer. Full body, soft carbo.

An interesting barrel taste, not peated but woody, not too much tanine. And anice color and flavour explosion. It cod use a bit more bite as in CO2.

33cL bottle Appearance: murky light brown with no head. Aroma: Bourbon, wood, medicinal./chemical artificial part. Taste: Luckilly the wood flavours and the bourbon like flavour overpower the odd chemical/medical part. But that last part makes it taste odd. (Not sure if it should taste like that., ) bitter dry finish hardly any carbonation, quite dense body,

I donít know what happened with this beer, but this the worst beer Iíve ever tasted, even though Iíve tasted some really nice beers from Rodenburg. The terra incognita didnít score well in my opinion, but this one smells like medicinal toothpaste. Lacks in any carbonation, only the appearance is ok. Really donít know what has happened to this beer, but this shouldnít be sold in the 1st place. This seems not due to any infection, but there should have been some more quality control here, and thatís unfortunate in this case.
