0.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20 CarlJonas (135) - Linköping, - NOV 12, 2012UPDATED: NOV 13, 2012 Looks like vegetable broth with a big white head. There is also hints of broth in the aroma along with canned peas, grass and bottled lime juice. It has an orange squash like, artificial sweetness that is quickly overpowered by an overwhelming sharp bitterness that lingers for quite some time. As the beer warms up and you get used to the bitterness, the sweetness becomes more dominant. Medium to thin mouthfeel with pretty strong carbonation. Although in no shape or form a good beer, it’s still a pretty interesting beer because of the bitterness, we’re talking Mikkeller 1000IBU Ultramate levels. Of course it’s way too bitter for the style, but that doesn’t necessarily make it undrinkable. An abundance of unpleasant off-flavors, on the other hand, most definitely do.

Bottle. Very hazy hay yellow liquid with firm, small to medium white head. The head dies out to nothing after a few minutes. Aroma of sour butter, cooked vegetables, minerals, hay, light floral hops and lemon juice. Whoah, this isn’t good. Taste is dry and waaay too bitter with notes of biscuit, metal and cooked vegetables. The bitterness is very harsh and metallic. Light to medium bodied with too high carbonation. What is this I don’t even. Did they forget to recalculate the hop dosage from the stronger version? Also, what’s up with all the DMS and the very high amount of diacetyl?! Sure, a Czech pilsner should have some diacetyl, but this is just too much. Get your shit together, Roel.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 rarbring (705) - Linköping, SWEDEN - NOV 10, 2012
Aroma: Smelling of fresh bread, ripe apples, lemon and hay. Appearance: A foggy straw colored beer. A high white head with good lacing and small curtains. Taste: Tasting sweet bread, nearly overripe lemons, bitter grape-fruit peel and seeds. Slightly metallic bitterness. Palate: Medium carbonation, a coarse texture. A small body with a long dry finish. Overall: For being a lager on 3.5% it has it’s merits, a bit harsh bitterness IMHO. Note: Reviewed 2012-11-10.
