COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Smells terrible. Taste is one of sweetly malts, little or no hops and alcohol. As if the alcohol has been added after brewing.

Deep golden color. Aroma of caramel and alcohol. Taste is better than aroma. Malty sweet with alcohol , and some bitterness in finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Rune (7992) - Tromsø, NORWAY - OCT 3, 2012
500ml bottle, 6.9% abv, provided by Gaute and shared with Finn. Next to clear, golden body. Loose, grey-white head. Spotty lacing. Sweet pale malty nose. Sweet malts with hints of apricot in flavour. Sweet ending where the alcohol is present. Medium bodied. On par with the style, maybe (Tromsø, 20.09.2012).

Flaske 0,5l spandert av Rune og delt med ham under rateseanse hos ham 20 Sep 12. Gyldenbrun. OK luftig skum som varer lenge. Små sedimentpartikler i glasset. Mye filigranser. Beskjeden søt fruktaroma. Smaken er mandler. Svakt søtlig ettersmak.

Amber colour and aroma is caramel with lots of alcohol. A fairly clean and well-balanced strong lager, I’ve had worse.

Beershine (5218) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - JUL 28, 2012
Bottle from Kiev supermarket. Gold, scant head. Grainy aroma with a ton of fuel and rubbing alcohol in the back. Drinks ok, tastes a little better than it smells in terms of less fuel, actually finishes fairly clean for what it is and manages to be drinkable, but is not a good beer.

No aroma to speak of, nothing special on the appearance either for sure. Tastes all right, a little heavy on the alcohol but not too bad. Just okay.

coolpop (1395) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - SEP 15, 2009
Bottle. Pours a hazy golden with a huge foaming white head. Aroma is piercingly sweet and a little metallic. Flavor is odd: malty sweetness with an underlying fake fruitiness. There’s no ingredients label on this, but I suspect there’s lots of corn and adjuncts. The alcohol is strong and harsh. Lingering and unpleasant bitter aftertaste of chemicals combined with skunky sweetness. Palate is thick and syrupy. Not absolutely horrible, but one of the worst Ukrainian beers I’ve tried -- can’t finish it. Okay, I guess that means it’s pretty bad.

MiP (13596) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JUN 24, 2009
Bottle, 6.9%. Clear dark golden colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is slightly sweet, quite peppery. OK balanced at first but gets a little grainy and rough in the finish.
