A nice dark pour and has a nice malty nose. Not over the top rich, but inviting. Not overly carbonated which makes it easy to drink. Flavours do fall away a little quickly but on the whole a good beer.

Probada en botella de 330 ml. en el Aeropuerto de Ayers Rock. Buena amber ale, fácil de tomar pero con consistente sabor a malta caramelizada y cítricos. Bien. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

33 cl bottle @ Timo A. BBE 30.11.2015.
Pours clear copper color with a small head. Vegetables and malts on the nose, mild berry hints with grass and dull English hops. Flavor is dry and malty, some dry fruit notes. Dry bitter palate. Way too "English" for me.

Draught at Regatta Hotel, Brisbane. Poured a crystal clear coppery colour with 5mm of off-white foam that diminished quickly to a collar that laced OK. Aroma subtly of sweet caramel malt with no obvious hops; a bit like a sweet lager. Taste is bland; no obvious bitterness; lager-like. Light body. Crisp, smooth and refreshing. Very much like a dark sweet lager rather than an ale.

Bland caramelly lager aroma. Pale orange. Taste also just bland caramelly and lagery. Rough finish, a bit metallic. If this is an ale, I’m a goat fucker.

Tap. Chestnut brown, low white head. Light blueberry notes on caramel and a hint toasty notes. Medium light body, mellow body. Light fruity finish. Restrained flavors, easy quaffable in the heat.

I go back and forth on how much I like this and it depends on whether you have it on tap or from a bottle. Tap is as you’d expect better, and stronger but it does leave for of a lingering bitter aftertaste on the palate. Bottle not as full a flavour and less of an aftertaste. Overall a pretty great beer AND for a mid strength it has the most flavour of any I have had to date. If I want a mid strength - this this is my go to beer

0.33 l bottle from local supermarket. Dark amber colour and small head. Looks like English bitter, but this has Australian hops and that’s what makes this one interesting. Quite refreshing.
