A nice dark pour and has a nice malty nose. Not over the top rich, but inviting. Not overly carbonated which makes it easy to drink. Flavours do fall away a little quickly but on the whole a good beer.

Pint bottle into pint glass.floral, orange, frothy. lightly bitter, very lightly carbonated. Head dies down to small film, a little lacing. Nice blend of hops and malt (they seem to alternate on your taste buds). Slightly reminiscent of Tui but much more agreeable. Nice beer.

Rated as a mid-strength. Fantastically full-flavoured. Way ahead of any other mid-strength, or even sessionable, I’ve had. On tap at the Wheaty.
