2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 strings (377) - Sydney, - JAN 21, 2009Bottle. A bit pale and watery but still evidence of coming from a good brewery. Sort of like they were trying to create a really bland mainstream characterless beer, and accidentally ended up with some nice residual fruity aromas. Inoffensive.

Bronze colour thin head. Thin body with bitter aftertaste. Reminds my of old school mass produced tap beer that used to be everywhere

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Jessop (178) - AUSTRALIA - FEB 9, 2013
Beautiful rich deep amber low level head and carbonation, hints of fruity ester. Low level malt profile, some roastyness coming though. Easy to drink and finishes well.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Bif (1023) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - FEB 1, 2013
Bottle - pours a clear dark amber color with a nice head that fades to some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt with a bit of caramel sweetness and bit of toffee. Taste of roasted malt, some caramel sweetness and toffee. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Moderate body, smooth with a nice balance. Has more flavor than I expected for a 3.8% ABV. Nice beer for the style.

Bottle. Reddish bronze beer with a reasonable head. The aroma is lightly caramel, and the flavour has some toffee'ness and a slight roastedness element. Overall a pretty average beer.

330mL botte. Pours clear amber with a small white head and a grassy/perfume aroma. Light fruity hop character in the flavour as well as a nice sweet toffee malt. Not bad for 3.8%!
