Flavor is lightly yeasty with grainy-caramely maltiness and fruit, with a touch of roast. Medium to full body, medium CO2. Not bad for a Belgian Amber Ale (generally not a very interesting style) - yet not memorable as such, either. 4346

Bottle at M-Cafe, Leuven: Hazy dark amber coloured brew with an slightly bitter taste and have some faint smokiness, there are hints of caramel.

Amber colored beer with fruity herbal nose. Herbal taste. A bit oxydized already. Medium bodied. Slightly some tartness noticeable.

Amber orange with nice white head. Reminds me of the beer style Speciale Belge. Bitter and sweet, watery and metallic. Some notes of hebs and citrus.

33cl bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus. Lightly hazy medium orange color, small white head that leaves a fair lacing. Smell is pretty flat, don’t get much. Taste malts, lightly sweet, slightly something hoppy, but you really have to look for it. High fizzy carbo, low to medium body.

Bottle thx to benzai. Hazy orange to amber, soft white head. Smells herbs and spices, some malts, anice. Tastes spices, herbs, some malts, anice. Medium body, low carbo.

Note: had this the first time at De Bistronoom in July 2010, remembered it as being more yellowish.
Clear copper red to pale amber coloured beer, creamy off-white head, unstable, little adhesive. Aroma: little citrus, metallic, green banana, very faint in all. MF: good carbon, full body. Taste: nutty, very bitter, citrus, bit metallic, grassy. Aftertaste: pretty bitter ending, bit medicinal, grassy. Not a fan.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is fruity and medium dry phenolic. Dry malty to caramelish, subdued sweetness. Light spiced and phenolic. Ends dry and malty.
