COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Seven different malts and three different hops go into our Porter for a smooth yet complex flavor. Ost offers light roast malt with a rich smoothness and a dry finish. Ideally served at 50-55F to best reveal its chocolate, caramel, coffee, and roasted malt notes.

Bottle from Specs. Pours black with a thin khaki head. The aromas are chocolate, roasted coffee, toasted nuts. The mouthfeel is slightly watery and dry with a medium body and good carbonation. Cheers!

Pours black. Smell is black roasty coffee. Dry roasty dark malt flavor. Overall very good, and their best beer I’ve had.

Good aroma of coffee chocolate roasts. Somewhat dark for style. Mouthfeel is full, almost chewy. Taste is well balanced and pleasant, though somewhat full for ABV. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber. Poured an opaque black with a mammoth tan head, and tons of lacing though out. Taste of roasted and slightly toasted malts, cocoa, dry fruit, slightly bitter smoke finish. High carbonation, medium body.

Bomber compliments of TJ. Pitch black pour into a shaker glass (held up to the window & no light shown through). Thick, fizzy light brown head stood tall for a minute or so before I could even get in close enough for a whiff. Giant roasted (almost burnt) malt aroma with some hints of dark chocolate & slightly yeasty brown bread. Flavor of bitter coffee and cacao nibs. Ashy bitter finish. Not unpleasant, but not as smooth as I had hoped for. Seems like it should be beefier than a mere 5.7% abv.

Black body with a lasting off white head. Smells of pear and chocolate. Flavor is a lot of roast with a unsweet cocoa flavor. I personally like a less roasty more chocolate sweet flavor. A bit thin on the body. A bit of banana and plum linger with the dry cocoa.
