Nice enough beer. A little weak in taste given its strength. A little disappointing for a american beer

355ml bottle from JDW the Royal Hop Pole Tewkesbury. Colour is slightly hazy amber with a white head. Hoppy and caramel aroma. The flavour is fruity, with herbs and a woody pine sweetness.

Decent amber pour from a 16oz can. Nice off white head that stuck around. Malt background with a light hop smooth finish. One of the better ambers I have had.

Tap at the Wildeman, Amsterdam. Poured a clear dark amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is glue, resin hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a yeast, resin nettle hop bitter palate and lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Lots going on and has plenty of body for an amber ale.

Aroma: intense cereal and bread malts. Appearance: hazy amber, small, creamy white head. Taste: light sweet. Palate: light biters are coming up, very malty, grain, cereal, soft carbonation. Overall: OK Amber Ale, but a bit on the disappointing side. Can at Mother Kelly’s, Bethnal Green.

Can. Pours a transparent amber with minimal off white head. Aroma of unsweet tea and malts. Taste of maltiness and some hops
