3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
The aroma has caramel malt and pine hops. The appearance is dark red amber with a small head. The taste is toasted malt, caramel, and bitter hops that add a coffee taste. The palate is average but good kind of like this beer.

Excelente ejemplo de american amber ale. Color cobrizo, cuerpo medio. En nariz da una fresca mezcla de lupulo y malta con un toque dulzón acaramelado. En boca ofrece exactamente lo mismo. Final intenso. Recomendadisima.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
355 ml bottle bought at YATA in Grand Century Place, Mong Kok.
Translucent amber red colour with trace of yeast sediments; One finger head and crumpet off-white foam which lasts for 1 minute; Very good sticky lacing and notable slight carbonation; Fragrant aroma of grapefruit, pineapple, light honey, caramel, molasses, ale malt, and light orange; Pleasant light sweet taste of ale malt, with metallic, caramel, light grapefruit, light bread, light liquorices, lime and grassy hops; Mid to light body, thin and slightly slick palate; Taste profile is dark ale malt, malty and dry. Pretty metallic (not annoying), with good Cascade’s grapefruit and hoppy character; Hoppiness is fragrant grapefruit and pineapple nose, pretty fruity and grassy hop taste. Liquorices get stronger with further sips, decent tasty astringent finish; Quite dry after taste; Refreshing and quite bitter to mouth.
Comments: This one is quite decent in many aspect: Good colour and head, dry and crisp malty body, aromatic caramel and Cascade’s grapefruit and pineapple nose, and pretty strong bitterness. Minuses being metallic taste, watery body, and not enough caramel taste. Still, a good Amber and worth trying.

This amber colored beer has and amazingly inviting aroma. It has a sweet but malty smoke flavor. I REALLY like it.

355ml bottle. The beer has a hazy, amber colour with a small off-white head. Notes of malts, caramel, citrus and grass. Moderately sweet and mildy bitter with a somewhat bitter and dry finish. Medium-bodied with somewhat thin texture and soft carbonation.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Why all these high ratings? This is a boring amber beer that has been made hundred’s of times before.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Well this is a good example of an Amber Ale with a flavour boost it is a moderately sweet beer with a lingering bitter, dry aftertaste. More flavourful then your traditional mass produced Amber Ale (e.g. James Squire) but nothing hugely special, nice BBQ beer for when you do not have time to spend contemplating the taste.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours from the bottle with a hazy amber color and a tight, small-bubbled white head. Aroma is a bit dull - although it’s dominated by a nice resin you’d expect from an amber ale. Taste is smooth, lightly bitter, with nice sweet caramel. A slick ale that really lives up to it’s name!

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottled. Pours hazy light brown in color with a small off-white head. Lots of sweetish hoppy and bready notes in aroma. A bit of fruityness and brown sugary notes as well in aroma. Smooth mouthfeel. Dry piney notes, bit of hard fruityness and caramel sweetness in taste. Nice, sweet hoppy amber ale.
