A dark amber pour with a nice frothy tan head. Nutty roasted malt aroma. Fairly thin beer for something this dark. Flavor is a mix of toasty malt and light grapefruit pith bitterness and floweriness from the hops. A bit sour as well, but makes it that much smoother. Lingering bitter sting like that of a grapefruit. Almost like a darker English Bitter with American hops. Decent session.

12 oz bottle. Pours a deep copper color with a large, durable, creamy, bone-colored head. Aroma: hops and malts in about equal measure. Flavor: Sweet and medium roasted malts dominate all the way through to the finish. Excellent, near even, sweet-bitter balance.

Plenty of times this one. Nice orange toasty body with slight head. Nose is grassy, of hops and rye. Taste is darker, of coffee, some hops. Quite creamy and smooth texture. Well done.

Dark cloudy amber body, off-white head and nice lacing. Sweet bready aroma. I suppose it has coffee as described, sort of..and maybe only upon suggestion. Slightly tart. Taste is biscuity, dried fruit, a touch of lemon with a dry watery finish. Quaffable and nice for the style.

Can. Clear amber pour with a small head. Nice caramel with bright citrus, hoppy for the style but still fairly mellow and balanced. Really nice amber.
