jdjuice (202), Japan Jan 29, 2008 Citrusy nose. Nice deep flavors, bitterness, straddles the line between light and heaviness. Quite easy to drink in spite of being pretty flavorful. Not bad at all.
goozen (785), Leiden, Netherlands Oct 15, 2008 Bottle: Just like an American Konick but much bitter and hoppy. But then you will know what your drinking. mansquito (652), Boston/Philadelphia, USA Oct 13, 2008 Drank it warm. Pours a nice amber with a long-lasting head. Indistinct malty aroma. Taste is malty with a bunch of hops. Sweet dough like taste is in there. Bitter aftertaste. I should note that I was drinking an IPA before this, so it might have been more bitter than I thought. Sleeper (66), Washington, USA Oct 12, 2008 Growler from Rogue Brewery. Sweet smell. Slight grapefruit and hop smell. The color beautiful of amber with a lasting head. The taste is much more hoppy than i expected... I like hops so that’s not a problem but it’s suprising. The finish is defenitly a little bitter. It’s a great beer, a little more than your standard amber. jerohen (1482), Bussum, Netherlands Oct 12, 2008 Bottled from Jusco supermarket, Shenzhen, China. Hazy amber brown coloured, brown head. Very nice hoppy nose. Pretty plain flavour, just some bitterness. Nice aroma, but the flavour can not live up to it. dm9831 (620), Monee, Illinois, USA Oct 11, 2008 hazy amber color, fluffy off-white head, slight lacing. sweet malt and grain in the nose. the sweetness of the aroma is repeated in the flavor. at least the sweetness is not cloying. medium bodied, oily mouthfeel. fizzy. a bit too sweet for my taste. not bad, just not in my wheel-house.
