COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brutal combines Oregon hops with English Malts. The Oregon grown Crystal hop is a triploid variety developed from the German Hallertau aroma hop variety with contributions from Cascade, Brewers Gold, and Early Green. Crystal is the only hop used in brewing Brutal and it provides a massive amount of aroma without dry-hopping. The English malts used are floor malted Pipkin (a mellow cross of Maris Otter and Warboys, from an English company called Beeston), Cara Vienna and Cara Wheat.

Tap @ beer temple. Pour slight hazy amber orange，with a small white head. Aroma of pine, citrus, grass, slight caramel. Medium sweet taste, with a thin body and a fizzy carb.

Bottled. Brownish-orangey colour. Thin, creamy and lacy head. Aromatic hops nose has citrusfruits, peach and some herbs. Caramel malt notes. The flavors is sweetish caramelly, slightly sugary even, fruity and bitter. Lingering bitter finish with caramel. Medium bodied, sharply carbonated and slightly sugray/sticky texture.

Cloudy orange with persistent medium white head. Great aroma of pine and citrus hops in a grassy field. Body is medium-light, a little thin. Flavor is nice although does not quite live up to the aroma. Dry non-specific hops with fairly long finish. Nice but not really "brutal," think would have liked it better if I was expecting a more simple single IPA.

22 oz. bottle from a tulip. Pours a lightly hazy golden-orange with a pretty, white head that lingers great and leaves very nice lacing. Aroma is immediately quite hoppy, seeming to be more citrusy than piney. Taste is very nice as well. Good, light caramel backbone with a pretty nice hoppy citrusy character. Overall, it is a bit of a disappointment because it is far from "Brutal." But as a single IPA, it is very nice, but a bit weak.

On tap at Man in the Moon, Stockholm January 2012. Slightly hazy dark orange with a medium white head. Aroma of grape, citrus and some grass. The taste was hoppy and bitter but not that "brutal". Quite soft and really drinkable. The aftertaste was bitter.

Aroma isn?t too hoppy which was a little disappointing. Poured amber. Sweet hop taste that turned to a good bitter on the palate. Overall good beer but a little much at around $8.

Pours a nice golden colour with an off white head. Aroma is sweet fruity malt with some hops. Taste is also strong fruit notes flavour with citrus leading to a hefty bitter finish. Really nice although maybe not as brutal as its name suggests.

Wonderfully hoppy, refreshing and all around delicious. Nothing too brutal about this ipa!
