pours a cloudy burnt orange with a nice 11/2 finger fluffy off white head. aroma is malt and hops with some orange. has a medium body with good lacing and great carbonation. flavor is stronger than the aroma and there is some orange peel and pine. has a dry hop aftertaste and the orange peel and pine sit on the tongue for a while. there is also sediment floating around in the pint. as it warms the aroma gets a little stronger. this is probably the best bitter/esb i have had so far, and almost reminds me of a strong apa. very good. it says imperial bitter on the bomber, i will go along with that.

Aug 17, 2008 Bottle. Aroma almost IPA-like in citrus and tropically fruity malt, but toastiness starts to come out upon warming. Flavor definitely much more ESB-like with toast and burnt toast and restrained hop bitterness. Tropical fruits remain. On the thin side. Decent.

Aug 17, 2008 Light orange pour, light off white head. Mellow, light aromas of some fruits and hops. Bitter, mellow malt, some biscuit, after sitting for a bit some sweet fruits come through. Very enjoyable

Aug 17, 2008 Slightly murky but brightly coloured (copper) appearance with no head to speak of. Lifted and well fruited nose with some passionfruit and fresh tropical fruits. Relatively settled in the mouth as a kick of bitterness and fizz comes through, and somewhat appropriate. A fair whack of the tropical fruit bowl coming through in the back palate as well. I think you would need to drink this quite cold as I can imagine the sweet flavours could thicken up as the beer warms up.

Aug 16, 2008 Bottle. Pours a cloudy dull orange with a small light tan head. Aroma is quite hoppy- lots of citrus hops, slight fruitiness. Flavor is similar- citrus hops, apple skins, tropical fruits, sweet malt. Palate is a little weak. Sweet, fruity, tasty.
