mansquito (641), Boston/Philadelphia, USA Mar 25, 2007 Really cloudy orange (we initially decided on amber/bronze hybrid... lighter than an IPA definately)... looks kind of unfiltered, not sure if it is though. Some head on top that leaves a pretty lacing. Really nice smell. Really does entice you and stuff. Not completely brutal, but definately a strong hop taste up front (this is nothing compared to some Sierra Nevada beers for example). The taste changes after the front by the time of the finish. The hoppiness is diminished while the interesting aftertaste takes precedent.
Trooper11 (447), Suffolk, Virginia, USA Oct 5, 2008 Cloudy amber orange brew, foamy white head with an orangish tint. Soft citrus floral aroma, like orange juice. Solid bitter citrus flavor, like eating a fresh orange, peel and all. very satisfying. Very bitter. Nice! Like Ronald McDonald..."I’m Lovin’ It!" Great orange zest aftertaste lingers. PaulHegedus (115), Brampton, Ontario, Canada Sep 29, 2008 Bottle. Pours amber with grapefruit, citrus like aromas. Medium body. Flavour starts sweet with caramel malt then is hit with strong hop bitterness, more citrus. Bitter finish. DWestrick (183), Ft Wayne, Indiana, USA Sep 28, 2008 bottle - an excellent beer - much like an IPA, suprized it was only 6% - finishes great will have again illkarate (47), Bloomington, Indiana, USA Sep 28, 2008 22oz bottle, pours a hazy amber-orange, perfect head... settles quickly. Extremely well-balanced brew, nice floral bitterness (but not overwhelming), pomelo, hints of honey, malt, good carbonation. Probably one of Rogue’s best offerings. CheersBabe (57), USA Sep 27, 2008 Pours like cider with a light-tan head. Smells flowery/hoppy, like a heavy IPA. Tastes of citrus with the bitter hops. Not a bad beer.
