cking (731), North Canton, Ohio, USA Feb 18, 2008 On tap at the local Winking Lizard, asked for a pint and got a 22 oz. imperial pint instead at no additional charge...bonus! Got to enjoy the first half before dinner and the remainder during and after the meal. A sharp floral hop aroma with a good citrus kick, it appears these are primarily American hop varieties. Dark, clear copper pour with a thin head and spotty lacing. A soothingly bitter, fresh, creamy mouth feel really impressed me. A nice blend of malt flavors. Biscuits and bread with caramel and nuts. Pine and citrus notes create a great balance to the flavor. The hops are American while the malt appears to be of English influence. An all around nice brew.
Trooper11 (449), Suffolk, Virginia, USA Oct 5, 2008 Cloudy amber orange brew, foamy white head with an orangish tint. Soft citrus floral aroma, like orange juice. Solid bitter citrus flavor, like eating a fresh orange, peel and all. very satisfying. Very bitter. Nice! Like Ronald McDonald..."I’m Lovin’ It!" Great orange zest aftertaste lingers. PaulHegedus (118), Brampton, Ontario, Canada Sep 29, 2008 Bottle. Pours amber with grapefruit, citrus like aromas. Medium body. Flavour starts sweet with caramel malt then is hit with strong hop bitterness, more citrus. Bitter finish. DWestrick (183), Ft Wayne, Indiana, USA Sep 28, 2008 bottle - an excellent beer - much like an IPA, suprized it was only 6% - finishes great will have again illkarate (51), Bloomington, Indiana, USA Sep 28, 2008 22oz bottle, pours a hazy amber-orange, perfect head... settles quickly. Extremely well-balanced brew, nice floral bitterness (but not overwhelming), pomelo, hints of honey, malt, good carbonation. Probably one of Rogue’s best offerings. CheersBabe (57), USA Sep 27, 2008 Pours like cider with a light-tan head. Smells flowery/hoppy, like a heavy IPA. Tastes of citrus with the bitter hops. Not a bad beer.
