COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brutal combines Oregon hops with English Malts. The Oregon grown Crystal hop is a triploid variety developed from the German Hallertau aroma hop variety with contributions from Cascade, Brewers Gold, and Early Green. Crystal is the only hop used in brewing Brutal and it provides a massive amount of aroma without dry-hopping. The English malts used are floor malted Pipkin (a mellow cross of Maris Otter and Warboys, from an English company called Beeston), Cara Vienna and Cara Wheat.

Bottle at home after dissapointigly having to miss a To Ol event I managed to grab a few bottles to sip in consolation. Pours hazy orange with big tropical fruit nose. Tastes of pineapple, grapefruit, passionfruit, caramel, earth, pine, and banana. Sweet yet bitter. Smooth palate. Quite nice I havet had a Rogue beer in a long time but this is lovely.

Tap from Stone's (hop leaf anniversary). Orange cloudy pour. Aroma is super biscuity. Taste is very very bready malty - piercing orange hops though. Bitter finish. Not bad.

Draught at Stone's. Very cloudy (almost opaque) bright orange-brown. Smells of woodsy hop and caramel malt, toffee, bread. Tastes of earthy piney woodsiness, orange, caramel malt. Very malt forward but goos mix of maltiness and hoppiness, very orange-y, fresh tasting.

Quite a nice IPA. Hoppier and more bitter than the 46 ibu would suggest. Aromatic piney some sweet citrus. Nice IPA. Impressed.

Cloudy amber with a decent head. The aroma has pine, grass, citrus as expected. Taste is initially honey, tangerine, grapefruit, then the grassy and pine hop bitterness kicks in. Medium bodied and fairly smooth. Very solid IPA.

Not as Brutal as the name implies. I get sweet malt on the nose, barely any hops. The taste is sweet and malty like Dead Guy, but not as flavorful. Hops are minimal in my opinion. Very good but not great.

Hazy, amber beer with an almoust one finger high head. Nose: Apricot, dried fruit, mandarine, pine, citrus and floral hops. Taste: Orange marmelade, citrus, pineapple, peach, grass, caramel malt and honey. Body: Medium body with crisp carbonation. A light bitterness at the end that stays on the tounge. This is a great IPA!

Aromat ogromnej ilości różowych grejpfrutów, landrynek, mango. Barwa bursztynowa, klarowne. Piana ładna, drobna, długa. W smaku zielone grejpfruty, cukierki ślazowe, pełne, ale i orzeźwiające. Dobra grejpfrutowa goryczka.
