4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from the LCBO. Hopefully I can pick a few more of these up. Along with Central City’s Red Racer (British Columbia), Southern Tier’s 2XIPA, and Bellwood’s Witchshark DIPA, this has to be one of my favourite IPAs (OK, two of those were imperial IPAs but whatever). Great deep orange colour, not much in terms of head and it dissipates quickly. Aroma is sweet and floral hops. Flavour follows suit, though the hops are a little bit more mellow than the aroma might suggest. Still, this features lots of flavour from the hops, with some lighter fruits underneath: peaches, apricots, citrus fruits. Overall a really great beer.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Gravity at GBBF 2014. Poured a hazy dark golden colour, with a thin, rocky white head. Aroma of crisp apples, hay and grassy hop. Orange flavours, with bitter pine needles and straw. Finish was spruce, citrus peal and mango.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A solid IPA. Very bitter and aromatic hops with flavours of pine and citrus. A rounded, slightly sweet malt. The bitterness lasts quite long in the mouth.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours an orange/amber color with a solid layer of head that laces well down the glass. Aroma of biscuits, somewhat spicy hops. Flavor is quite sweet, has a strong malty profile, bready, some caramel notes, hops are somewhat buried by the sweetness but are still present and the end of the taste.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Orange-golden, hazy, nice white head with good lacing. Hoppy aroma - some green notes, I would say. Good body - the main note in taste is malty sweetness which I actually don’t really like but here it’s okay. Then comes the bitterness, it’s gentle, not brutal. There are hoppy flavours as well. I expected more offensive beer, but it’s a well-balanced, good IPA.

Rusty Bucket, Dayton, draft. No head or lacing. Copper and clear. Smells like fermented pears. Light mouthfeel. Easy to drink. Good session IPA.

Bouteille. La cervoise 91. Robe orange, mousse beige clair dense. Nez caramélisé et résineux, expressive sur le houblon . Bouche amère typique où l'on retrouve le nez et une amertume sur le zeste de citron. Finale sèche. Classique et efficace.
