---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cloudy amber in appearance, thin effervescent head. Bread and yeast in the aroma. Taste is refreshing, delicate, slightly fruity and bitter, with a crisp finish. A pleasant beer to quaff with sushi or stir-fry.

Bottle at Ales and Lagers, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear amber with a broken white head and some broken lace. The aroma is rich, malty and with citrus notes, which is pretty much where the flavour is at too. It’s rather smooth, medium bitter and somewhat zesty on the palate. I really enjoyed this beer. It was rather warm when I drank it, but i’d like to sample a cool one too.

Subtle wine-like smell. Average oam. Clear-ly filtered. Refreshing as opposed to heavy in taste.

On tap at Beer Temple. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of butter, buttered corn, light floral and light grassy. Flavour is buttered corn, hint of cocoa, light spicy, light grassy bitter finish, hint of citrus. Light-bodied. Off, way too much buttery notes.

Enjoyed with spicy pork dish at Duangrat’s Thai restaurant in Falls Church. Bomber->shaker. Pours blonde with frothy white head. Aroma has grains, grassy hops, rice. Palate is very crisp. Tastes very light and grassy with a touch of malt and hops. Tastes like exactly what it is: Rogue’s upscale version of an Asian lager. Great with Thai food, probably bland otherwise.
