Full bodied aroma witha thin, off white head and full lacing. Amarillo hps provide a full bodied taste with a hints of grapefruit and prunes, and it provides a full bitter aftertaste.

Bottle. Reddish color with an off white head. Smell is malty, hoppy, citrus, grapefruits, some grassy notes. Taste smooth, bitter, easy to drink - lively body. Closer to a pale ale for me due to the overwhelming malts - but still a pretty solid beer.

bomber into a tulip. Hazy dark orange brown color. Almost muddy in a way. Light tan head, two fingers to start and falls to a thick collar. Good lacing with this . Visible carbonation, though it should not have it due to the pure murkiness of the beer. Nose is big caramel backbone with a lot of orange and pine hops. Very straight forward. Taste straightforward grapefruit and pine hops. Big assertive hops, followed by a big assertive backbone. Chewy body. Big feel for the ABV. Good carbonation. Pale Ale on crack . Quite good in reality.

McNeillR (1328) - SCOTLAND - MAR 15, 2014
Wood varnish hazy with the finest threads of carbonation piping through, like the opening of Bladerunner - mesmerizing. Head is a rich beige ring with some lacing.
Malty and odd lavender floral, with slightly creamy/oaty and undercooked doughy sharpness. Tea like bitterness towards the middle. Odd sour stewedness dampened in and softly carbonated.
Finish is chewy but rounded tart bitterness. Lightly sweet and sticky linger. Decent enough and an awkward sum of parts, felt like it could have been singing a lot louder in places.

Draught at the Rogue Bar in downtown Portland, OR on 23 May 2013. Poured a cloudy ruby colour with a thin halo of off white head. Aroma of spruce, citrus and crusty bread. Initial flavours of molasses and burnt sugar turn to bitter pine-like hops. Finish is resin, toasted malt and dry grain.

Rated on 3-13-2010 (Bottle) This bottled beer pours a large fizzy ivory head that mostly diminishes, hazy orange body with a red tint, visible carbonation, and a good amount of lacing. The aroma is caramel malt, citrus, and grapefruit hops. The taste mimics the aroma. The palate is smooth and this beer is medium bodied. Overall, this beer has a lingering hop aftertaste and this beer is one for hopheads.
