Bottle-Not what I expected, what I expected was a lot of hops, that didn’t happen and I’m happy about that. Poured a cloudy amber color with that typical large, Rouge Ale head. Yum, looks inviting! Citrusy, hoppy aroma but not overwhelming. Taste doesn’t have much hop present at all, in fact it has some malt flavoring. Simple finish. Produce place 6.79.

Not bad - nice hop flavor that didn’t overpower you. Great color. You could tell this was a Rogue brew - the quality was definitely there.

bitter and hoppy. smells very yeasty. It has a little fruity thing going on...through the hoppy hops. It’s pretty dry, too.

Herbal both in nose and flavour. Green tea is what comes to mind. There is a bit of caramel but nothing near as much as I thought. Bakers chocolate, bitter, but subdued by a breadiness. This is pretty awesome to tell you the truth. Nice job, Rogue.

Thanks Hayduke! A murky brown pour with a one finger tan head. Amazingly sweet aroma is fruity and spicy. Flavor offers almost as much sweet fruit. It also has a nice caramel profile. Even a hint of chocolate. The hops do make themselves known with a nice bitterness and some pine. I am not a fan of hugely hopped beers and this one suits my tastes. It is on the sweet side and very easy to drink. The hops do let you know that they are there but do not over power. A very nice and well crafted beer.

Pours deep orange with a head off-white and creamy. Aroma is resin, citrus, alcohol and caramel. Tastes moderately bittersweet initially, acidic in the middle and lightly bitter in the finish. Medium bodied, syrupy texture with soft carbonation. Impressive development in each swallow. A good IPA. (9.12.2009 Bottle @ Cardinal, Onsdag^2)

Pours a redish brown with a medium thick light tan head and a bit of clinging lacing. Aroma is of malt, yeast, and a touch of hops. It’s pleasant enough but no unexpected notes. Hops hit the flavor right off the bat, more on the piny side rather than citrus. There is a bit of malt in the undertone, but nothing too complex. Medium mouth feel. Overall nicely drinkable, but not extraordinary.

Light reddish-brown pour with off-white head. Aroma is light bisquits, hops, little caramel. Taste is malty, floral hops. The malts and hops balance well together. Nice lacing. Dry finish.
