22 oz bottle served in a snifter. Pours deep amber with a big sticky beige head. Lots of citrus in the nose which also reappears in the flavor with its friend pine. Deep resinous bitterness which lasts well into the finish. Best Rogue beer I’ve had in awhile.

Bottiglia 33cl, comprata da Giangaspero e bevuta a casa. Ambrata scura con bella schiuma pannosa. Molto malto e poi luppolo. Buona

Amber / copper body with a thick, khaki hued, sea foam head. Aromas of bready malts, earthy hops, mineral water. Malt forward. Sourdough bread with notes of pine. Moderate bitterness. Medium bodied. Resinous hops linger on the palate. Pretty good.

Piwo dedykowane Sigowi Hansenowi, kapitanowi łodzi rybackiej Northwestern. To w skrócie wyjaśnia nazwę piwa.

Found this randomly at a Meijer. It was the only bottle amongst other the other Rogue beers that Meijer sells. Quite a find. Pours a hazy brown with an off-white head. Aroma is dark fruit and caramel. Flavor is similar, but more muted, with a little sweetness and dry bitterness. Pretty smooth. Looking at it and smelling it I thought this was perhaps a Dubbel, but the flavor was different. Very interesting ipa. I enjoyed it.

I felt that this was a bit unbalanced and overly and unnecessarily bitter, without a promised hit of malt warmth. It pours a great colour, has a fantastic head, but I’m left a bit soft on taste and palate. It isn’t bad, it’s just not great.

On tap at Craft Cafe Imazato. Cap’t Sigs Deadliest Ale - a deep mahagoney brown. Soft cocoa & floral hops with some maltiness. The taste is sweetly malty with a fruity citrus. A clean finish. Not really complicated, a simple but enjoyable beer.

"Nice aroma on this fresh. The flavor is not quite up to par but is still pretty decent. Decent amounts caramel and sweetish malt to back up ample hops......found myself wishing for more aromatics and classic IPA hopiness. A touch too much yeast and malt for my taste."
