Draught @ Brewer’s on the Bay, Newport, OR. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a sweetish floral chamomile aroma. Sweetish malty chamomile flavor with some floral honey hints. Sweetish malty chamomile finish.

Pours hazy crazy copper - straw with white head. The aroma is bold sugar sweet malts and chamomile tea. Smells syrupy really. IT gets near to but doesn’t achieve a pepper sensation. The taste is smooth and sugar sweet with mild malts and chamomile backed by a honey and hard candy goodness. Wow, very tasty.

Bottle, at BA Throwdown #2. Not sure how old this is, but it’s definitely got some age on it. Golden red color, creamy head and lacing. Huge spicy cinnamon notes, chamomile, nutmeg, brown sugar, and hops. Chamomile flavors, cinnamon, some nutmeg and allspice. Smooth, has a lot of age and lacks a sharp bitterness. Good though, despite its flaws.

Draft at Rogue in Newport as Rogue Chamomellow. A dark golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and chamomile. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of chamomile - almost too much, leading to a lightly dry and bitter finish. A mixture of a chamomile tea and beer.

Had on draft at the Public House. Hazy golden color. Smelled WONDERFUL. All chamomile and tea. Taste was similar. tasted like a sweetened ice tea with chamomile.

I had this on tap at the Rogue Brewpub in San Francisco under the alias Chamomellow.
A: It pours a slightly cloudy straw color with a one finger white head.
S: The aroma is just like sweetened chamomile tea. There is a pretty powerful honey aroma and it almost smells like it could be orange blossom honey.
T: It actually tastes just like tea but much sweeter than I would prefer my tea. The honey is in the flavor tea and there is some orange in there too.
M: For as much as it tastes like tea, it feels like a light bodied beer.
D: It’s not bad for what it is, but it’s too sweet for me to have more than a half pint.

Tap – Brewery- Issaquah WA
Aroma – Deep with a chamomile aroma. Malty and little hops.
Appearance – Deep golden color, hazy and a light head.
Flavor – Deep malt and Chamomile flavors this was buttery and mild to taste. Interesting flavors
Palate – Dry to the finish. This beer was interesting and had some great off flavors.
Overall – This is a beer to try once and maybe again once you have had it to see does it have the herb flavor. This was a great beer in the finish. Good stuff.

on tap-pours a white head and yellow color. Aroma is medium malt, chamomile. Taste is medium malt-caramel, chamomile, faint hops bitterness, herbal-some spice. OK carbonation.

7/29/07 On draught at the brewery. Aroma is an herbal sweetness forward with a creamy note, somewhat lactic, that finishes up malty. Appearance is yellow with a low white head. Flavor is sour herbs forward, sweet, tangy, with a citrusy hop character. Mouthfeel is low bodied with a moderate carb texture and a slight diacetyl slickness. Overall, not bad, but just not refreshing enough for a blonde; I wouldn’t go for more than one.

On tap at Rogue Ale House in San Francisco. Very interesting beer, hazy in color, unique aroma and unique taste. Not enough of an intense flavor for me.
