4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
It pours a light amber and gives the same color body. A really nice looking foamy lumpy white one inch head appears and lasts for a good three minutes before gently dieing into the body. Some spotty lacing is left. The smell has the jalapeno peppers powerfully up front, malts only come in after a half an hour of warming up. The taste is the same adding a very nice dry smokey aftertaste. The mouthfeel is medium and sharp on the tongue, possibly because of the peppers that were added. A nice "hot" feel rushes over my tongue after about five minutes of having a couple sips of this, interesting. Overall, this is good for me and good for its style.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
"this one is definitely unique & spicy (for better or worse) with a roasted quality not found in many chile pepper beers. i’d never be able to drink a 22 of this by myself, so i consider the drinkability low, but it goes quite well with tamales. 7/11-still dont realy dig it. spice and smoke, rough around the edges. eh."

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Had this beer with some jalapeños brats - very good.
I thought the beer had just enough of a bite to it and wasn’t overwhelming. I would have it again.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nice sublime chipotle ale, light in body with a hint of pepper. Sourced directly from their rogue farms. Solid chili beer if that’s your thing!

3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: SEP 5, 2014 Surprisingly malty. Not too much with the Chipotle until the middle to back end and mild at that. Which suites me fine as Hot Pepper beer isn?t my thing (my wife bought it for me). All in all I enjoyed it.

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Pours a clear amber with two fingers of off-white head diminishing gradually to a thick ca and heavy lacing. Nose is... bizarre: smoky green jalapeños, caramel malt, and something I can’t identify. Taste follows, with a moderate spiciness that grows as the pint progresses. Medium body, low carbonation, and an off-dry finish.
I’m sorry, this is nasty. As in, sink pour territory - and I don’t generally do that, plus I love spicy food. This just doesn’t work. Save your time and money and don’t bother. I’m coming to the conclusion that this is a brewery that you can’t blindly support. Some of their brews just don’t work, and this is the poster child for that.
