My Bottom Line:
This Golden Ale’s overt, tart fruitiness spans from pickled plums to wild blueberries as its cereal sweetness forms a firm base near caramel levels. This is far from Rogue’s finest, but it remains an enjoyable, eccentric Fruit Beer.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A nice sheet of foam dissolves cloudy blond.
-Carbonation is prickly, lightening the well-fed body.
-Citrusy hoppiness adds depth.
-Simple and refreshing, as well-brewed as any other Rogue, just not the kind of beer I’d have often.

Bottle at Beer Inn Mugishutei.

Pours hazy gold with slightly off-white, nice looking head. Aromas are sweet, with a bit of berriness, I’m guessing from the Hascup berries, although I don’t know what they smell like. Flavors are quite interesting, something of a lighter beer ale, no significant hop bitterness, but slightly sweet and balanced nicely by the sourness from the berries. Nice sharp sourness, maybe halfway to a lambic in terms of puckeriness. Sourness disappears fairly quickly and leaves a short, clean finish. Quite interesting and enjoyable.
