Commercial description The recipe for Chocolate Bear Stout was created several years ago for export to Japan. The exported twelve ounce Chocolate Bear Beer bottle label is in Kanji and features a teddy bear with a pink heart on his belly. Chocolate bear beer sweet, is sweetened with Lactose which makes it a Milk Stout or in this case a Chocolate Milk Stout. The brewer markets this same or near-same product by more than one names. This can be the result of a brewer distributing this beer under different names in different countries, or the brewer simply changing the name, but not the recipe at different points in time.
