COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ebony in color with a rich creamy head. The mellow flavor of oats, chocolate malts, and real chocolate are balanced perfectly with the right amount of hops for a bittersweet finish. Chocolate Stout is brewed with 10 ingredients: Northwest Harrington and Klages, Crystal 135-165 and Beeston Chocolate Malts, Cascade Hops, Rolled Oats and Roasted Barley, Natural Chocolate Flavor, Free Range Coastal Waters and PacMan Yeast.

Pours a deep drown with a small ring of brown head that leaves no lace. The nose and taste are very milk chocolate forward. The finish is a bit of dark chocolate. It's above solid for what it is- a dessert beer meant to be share with a few people. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The beer has a beautiful dark appearance. The color of the beer is a nice dark brown, with a slightly ruby red glow. The beer pours a nice soft creamy foam, with a yellowish color. The bulk of the foam collapses, to leave almost nothing behind. The smell is very nice. There is a good sweet chocolate aroma, combined with some nice roasted aromas. It reminds me of the Porterhouse Chocolate Truffle Stout. All those nice dark bitter tones, balanced out by the sweetness of the chocolate, delicious. There are also some nice fresh hop tones in the smell. The taste of the beer is slightly less. There is less of the chocolate deliciousness. There are some nice roasty bitter tones and a fresh fruity hop flavor. The aftertaste is nice and bitter. All in all, a delicious stout, like it should be. A good preparation for my trip to Dublin

Dark black, light brown lasting lacing foam head. Stron chocolate aroma, getting better when beer gets warmer. Bitter chocolate taste, great beer. (Sofia 201604)

Gigantisches Dessert-Bier!
