Pours coffee black with a nice tan head. Aromas of chocolate, and more chocolate. Flavor is milk chocolate, roasted malts and some chocolate covered coffee beans to round out the bitterness. Did I mention there is chocolate in this? Not bad overall, actually rather enjoyable but also seems like it could get tiresome. Good one and doner, but odd label...

650 ml bottle. Pours black with moderate tan head. Aromas of rich chocolate with a bit of vanilla and roasted malts. Up front flavors are the same with a weak bitter dry chocolate finish. Pretty much all chocolate though quite enjoyable.

Itís always fun to try a Chocolate Stout. Rogue Chocolate Stout is fun to drink for reasons beyond the novelty of the experience. This is an expertly balanced stout all the way through. But weíll get to that. Appearance is superb. Color is black as my soul, and the head is rocky and appropriately cocoa colored. Smell points mostly to coffee but toasted malt and cocoa beans shine through, too. Flavor is chocolaty without being excessive. Roasted coffee hits the front of the tongue. The middle is sweet, milky, malty, rich, and creamy. Finally, the hops help to create a final sensation that captures the fruity, spicy character of bittersweet chocolate. Canít wait to try the Double Chocolate Stout!

Amazing aroma of chocolate and vanilla, great looking dark colour not much head. Amazing taste of chocolate and vanilla with a watery feel and a weak chocolate palate.

Bottle. A- Bakers chocolate, milky, coffee, roasty. A- Black color, dark color, brown head. T- Mocha, milk chocolate, slight bitterness, coffee, malty, roasty, nutty. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, roasty finish. O- A smooth and milky stout that is very well balanced and smooth. The aroma is more of a dry bakers chocolate and the palate is more of a milk chocolate route. Overall, this is one of Rougeís best beers in my opinion.

Pours black with a beautiful dark tan head. Aroma is of dark chocolate, sour milk, coffee and tootsie rolls. Tastes of dark chocolate syrup, coffee, smoke, roasted malt, and even some mint. Has a dry heavy body with low carbonation and a burnt aftertaste. This is a very nice dessert replacement.

bottle. Black with one finger head. Nice thick pour. Old bottle, but chocolate flavors are strong. A touch of oxidation, but overall, flavors are excellent. One of the better Rogue beers Iíve had.

Excelente.
