Ebony in color with a rich creamy head. The mellow flavor of oats, chocolate malts, and real chocolate are balanced perfectly with the right amount of hops for a bittersweet finish. Chocolate Stout is brewed with 10 ingredients: Northwest Harrington and Klages, Crystal 135-165 and Beeston Chocolate Malts, Cascade Hops, Rolled Oats and Roasted Barley, Natural Chocolate Flavor, Free Range Coastal Waters and PacMan Yeast.

black color, aroma of cocoa powder, grain, flavors of bitter cocoa powder, pine hops, slight coffee on the finish, med body, slightly watery, expecting a little more body and balance out of this one, good brew but slightly disappointing

650ml bottle. Deep brown/black colour with a nice beige head. Chocolate, sweet, liquorice and oat in the aroma. Average carbonation and medium to full body. Taste is bitter with some sweet chocolate notes. Long dry, bitter and light astringent finish. Overall, a very good beer.

This is a great stout. Thick and smooth, almost like a milkshake. Aroma is fabulous.

Dark chocolate mainly, sweet, more chocolate.

Pitch black beer with a small off-white head.

Starts undefined sweet, then the sweet chocolate hits. Ends in dark slightly bitter chocolate.

Bottled. Poured into snifter. This is an amazing stout. Big flavors of dark chocolate on the front, back, and everywhere in between. Like eating a savory dark chocolate bar. Delicious! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Corpo medio leggero, poco carbonata, oleosa.

Very dark pour, thin tan head. Aroma of, well, chocolate along with some indistinguishable roasted something. Bittersweet chocolate on the nose and palate. Seemed a bit thin, not very sweet, with a strong chocolate profile. Definitely got the bittersweet (not milk) chocolate angle, but was not as rich or roasty or really anything to make me excited.
