i was very intrigued about this beer and it didnt disappoint. This was my first chocolate stout and I was overwhelmed by the amount of dark chocolate flavour flowing through the beer. As it got warmer the chocolate aroma began to become more and more evident. Was incredible. Very smooth taste not too bitter or hoppy at all. Definitely leave out of the fridge for 15 mins prior to drinking to enjoy the dark chocolate aroma. Must have very impressed!!!

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Black color with a bit of an amber-brown highlight and beige small head. Aroma is coffee and cocoa beans. Taste is cocoa at the beginning, milky feeling, and then there’s bitterness kicking in with a dry coffee finish. Very well-balanced, one of the better Chocolate Stouts!

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle at home. Has a black colour with a beige head. The aroma is dominated by cocoa, coffee, chocolate truffles and burned wood. The flavour has more roasted malt, ash and chocolate in the background. Has a slick and silky mouth feel. A fantastic dessert beer. Nicely roasted and filled with chocolate.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Opaque black. Minimal head. Pungent chocolate, roast, malt, caramel and vanilla aroma. Thick, creamy and smooth. Absolutely delectable. Chocolate, caramel, roast, vanilla and malt all coalesce and formulate a wonderfully smooth and complex flavour that finishes with a mildly bitter hoppy/roast taste. Rogue continues to supplant its competitors.

650 ml bottle. Pours black with moderate tan head. Aromas of rich chocolate with a bit of vanilla and roasted malts. Up front flavors are the same with a weak bitter dry chocolate finish. Pretty much all chocolate though quite enjoyable.
