This $4.99 bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a transparent typically carbonated orange colored body and a fair lacing. The mild aroma was malty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt mild hops breads and orange peel. A decent one but not one that I would consider buying again.

I don;t understand the hatred here. This is not a bad beer. Slightly somkey vegital grainyness and a hint of sweet malt. Nice grainy biscuity flavor, with a decent alcohol kick. This is a great malt liquor, maybe not a great beer, but a great malt liquor.

Almost honey colored with a white head. Aroma is mostly smokey malts. Body is light and not smokey at all. Flavor is very sweet corn with some raisin. Very smooth with little carbonation. Quite sweet.

bottle - 650 ml -- Malt Liquor? probably the best malt liquor I have ever had. Its a fairly balanced beer that hides the alcohol level well. Sweet corn flavor, good hoppy bite. Given the beer’s name, it’s only fitting to dedicate my 300th rating to my Dad. Now to just get him away from light beer. haha

Poured pale, no head. Aroma was corn, sweet. Flavor was actually decent though, some complexity and rather drinkable. Medium bodied. Props for making a malt liquor.

Pours the usual golden color with some slight amberness to it. The aroma was pretty corn-like, light alcohol. The flavor was thick corny pale lager with no noticeable alcohol. Mouthfeel was moderate, sweet, little acidic touch to it. Reminded me of DFH’s Liquor De Malt. If these things weren’t such liver wasters, a side-by-side runoff would be thrilling (not really).

clear yellow disappearing white head. aroma fruity almost belgian like banana aroma. bittersweet malt liquor flavor. light fruity notes. bitter dry finish with a hint of spice. light watery. very light almost no carbonation. decent malt liquor..........i guess..........i was drinking a colt 45 with it and i would almost take the colt 45 over the dlh.........ummmm its a malt liquor and the body and carbonation sucked even for that. i dunno. i guess i was hoping for a good malt liquor. i got something that i didint like as much as colt 45......granted i was drinking the colt 45 from the 40........looking back on the notes i might have rated this a bit too high....but.....

Rating for ’Rogue Dad’s Little Helper’ (just thought I’d make that clear before Rogue changes its name.)

Looks rather like what you’d expect of a quality malt liquor: sickly-thick golden/amber with a quick white head. While Rogue makes no attempts to hide the corn, they certainly do put some lipstick on it. Candied and a bit toasty (at least "bready"), yea, verily, with a big alcohol hit... moreso in the nose than on the tongue. Flavor is malty and corny and sweet and oh-so-good of a style representation. Yep. Thick & sweet & sugary. Top-notch crunk juice.
