Jun 15, 2009 Pours a cloudy dark medium amber with a frothy light tan head. Aroma is nutty with caramel, some fruit, and a little smoked malt.
Flavor is well into the malty side. Flavors of rich caramel, honey, light roasted malt and toffee. Sweet, bitter, and hearty. Palate is just above average. Decent malty brew.

Jun 9, 2009 341ml bottle from SAQ. Pours clear light amber with a big fluffy light brown head. Lots of bubble flowing from bottom to top. Lacing head, good retention. Aroma is malty, caramel. Some hints of honey, spices, hops and red fruits. Taste is light bitterness, spices, quite sweet. Alcohol is quite present. Carbonation is quite present but not too much. Great brew, just not exactly my thing.

23-07-09. (New Review) It’s stil a clear golden colored beer, with a thick foamy off-white head. The aroma is malty, with caramel, spices and many hops. The taste is soft sweet. It has hop bitterness and fruits like citrus. It has crisp with a touch of chocolate, The aftertaste is nice bitter and a little sweet.

Jun 7, 2009 Bottle pours medium amber with a creamy off white head. Slight honey like aroma with some buttery notes. Slight dryness at the beginning of the taste with some sweet malts, ,raisins, and brown sugar. Slight off flavors at the end.
