Quite Hoppy with caramel and peaches in the finish. j12601 (1153), Poughkeepsie, New York, USA Dec 30, 2008 Bottled as white crane. Pours a gently hazed dark amber color with a monstrous popcorn colored head white deflates down to a manageable size. Aromas of sweet malt and toast and toffee. Medium thick body with a bit of sweetness. Slowly developing, but all too quickly receding bitter finish. Nicely balanced, but almost seems like something is being held back, and that this beer could just be a little bit more forward. rocbyter (902), Waterbury, Connecticut, USA Dec 28, 2008 Sweet malt aroma. Smooth on the palate with light carbonation. You can taste the hops on and off with a caramel and grassy finish. This beer suprised me, it is better than it is rated to me. blizzardlover (43), Minnesota, USA Dec 24, 2008 Almost zero head. Marmalade color. Bouquet smells sweet like a cross between strawberries and cotton candy. Texture is crisp initially, and then warms up. Bitter. Citrus. This is a good beer, I enjoyed it!
